Period close and query tracker / Interface design

Prepare the close.
Keep queries visible.

We built the period overview, close checklist and transaction query as connected views.

The checklist shows the work in progress, while the selected query preserves the detail a reviewer needs to resolve.

Keeping unresolved queries visible during month-end close
01 / THE DESIGN DECISION

An open question is still open work.

Review history remains separate from the current checklist. It explains what has been examined without implying that every unresolved transaction is ready to close. We used the document structure to make outstanding questions visible at the moment someone reviews the period.

02 / THE BUILD

The pages we designed.

The build brings period overview, close checklist, transaction query and review history into one workspace.

03 / PROJECT NOTES

Project scope.

We designed and built 4 pages for this self-initiated project, including the layouts, responsive behaviour and front-end interactions. The interface uses sample business records.

The screenshots show authored interface states. Live accounts, operational integrations and production transactions are outside this portfolio build.

The gallery shows our rendered pages with identifying details masked.
