THREE PROJECTS / SOURCE INCLUDED

Useful software.
Open to inspection.

A PHP application foundation, an email migration tool and a self-hosted CAPTCHA. Built by Anteomnio, with the code available to read.

Start with the problem you need to solve. Explore how the project works, check its documentation and try it in your environment before making it part of your system.

01 / APPLICATION DEVELOPMENTGPL-3.0 / OPEN SOURCE

OmnioPHP

Build on a foundation you can read.

OmnioPHP brings routing, data access, middleware and other application concerns into a PHP framework. It gives application code a common structure instead of requiring each project to assemble every backend component independently.

Consider it when you want to examine the conventions and implementation behind your application framework. Evaluate it against your team, existing code and long-term maintenance needs.

02 / EMAIL OPERATIONSApache-2.0 / OPEN SOURCE

MailMigrator

Move the messages. Preserve their context.

MailMigrator copies messages between IMAP accounts, with support for folders, dates and message state. Its command-line and web interfaces share a migration engine with progress tracking and duplicate checks.

Consider it for a mailbox migration where you need to understand what was copied and how a run can resume. Provider authentication and folder behaviour still need checking for the accounts involved.

03 / FORM PROTECTIONGPL-3.0 / OPEN SOURCE

AOCaptcha

Keep challenge verification on your server.

AOCaptcha is a self-hosted drag-and-drop CAPTCHA for PHP. The server evaluates the drop position and movement trace, then supplies a verification token for the form submission.

Consider it when you want to host this part of form protection yourself. A challenge is one control within a broader form workflow, alongside validation, request protection and abuse handling.

FROM REPOSITORY TO REAL USE

Make the first trial
small and informative.

A useful evaluation answers more than whether the installation completes. It should show how the tool behaves in your environment and what your team will need to operate it.

01 / READ

Understand the moving parts.

Check the README, dependencies, configuration and licence in the repository. Use the current project documentation for installation steps and runtime requirements.

02 / TRY

Test one complete task.

Run a small application, a limited mailbox copy or a full form submission. Include an interruption or failure so you understand recovery as well as success.

03 / PLAN

Decide who will operate it.

Identify who owns deployment, configuration, updates and issue investigation. Record what you tested and what still needs checking before wider use.

CODE, LICENCES AND HELP

Know what you
are taking on.

The projects are separate. You do not need to adopt OmnioPHP to evaluate MailMigrator or AOCaptcha.

Where are the installation instructions?

Each project links to its repository. Read its current README and supporting documentation for requirements, configuration and installation. This overview deliberately avoids fixed version numbers that can become outdated.

Which licence applies to each project?

OmnioPHP and AOCaptcha are listed under GPL-3.0; MailMigrator uses Apache-2.0. Read the licence in the repository for the version you intend to use before adopting or distributing the code.

Does using the code include implementation support?

Implementation help is a separate conversation. Tell us which project you are evaluating, your environment and the work you need help with. We can discuss a defined scope rather than assuming the repository includes a managed service.

What makes a useful issue report?

Use the relevant repository and its contribution guidance. Include the version, environment, steps to reproduce, expected behaviour and actual result. Remove credentials and private data from examples and logs.

NEED HELP PUTTING IT TO WORK?

Bring the project.
And the context around it.

Tell us what you want to achieve, what you have already tried and where you need help. We can assess integration, adaptation or a wider application build.
