Field-service mobile app / Interface design

At the equipment.
With the record.

We designed six mobile screens for technicians moving between an equipment record, an inspection and a report.

We kept the asset context visible so an observation would remain attached to the machine being examined.

DESIGN FOCUS
Connecting inspections, evidence and field reports
01 / THE DESIGN DECISION

A field report begins with the asset.

The compact screens use technical labels and a clear sequence rather than compressing a desktop dashboard onto a phone. Equipment details, visit history and observations lead into the report handoff. The desktop presentation frames the mobile product; the working layout is designed around the smaller screen.

02 / THE BUILD

The pages we designed.

The build brings overview, asset, inspection, evidence, the report and the history into one workspace.

03 / PROJECT NOTES

Project scope.

We designed and built 6 pages for this self-initiated project, including the layouts, responsive behaviour and front-end interactions. The interface uses sample business records.

The screenshots show authored interface states. Live accounts, operational integrations and production transactions are outside this portfolio build.

The gallery shows our rendered pages with identifying details masked.
