Home / About

A software team with nobody in the middle.

Anteomnio is small on purpose. The person who scopes your project is the one who builds it, and the one who picks up the phone. No account managers, no relay, no detail lost in translation.

“
We started Anteomnio because we kept seeing the same thing: businesses paying for software that never solved the problem, built by people who never understood the business.

Why it works

So we took the layers out.

At most firms the person who sells you the work hands you to a manager, who briefs a developer you never meet. Here is the same brief, on both sides.

Your brief, whispered down a chain. Something goes missing at every step.

One conversation, straight to the person doing the work. Nothing lost, because nothing is passed on.

Leadership

The people who run Anteomnio.

Two people lead the company, backed by a small, trusted bench of specialists we bring in as a project needs. Whoever is on the build, the people in charge are the ones you deal with, never a layer of managers.

Suman Banerjee
Founder & CEO

Suman founded Anteomnio and leads its technical side. Architecture, code, infrastructure and delivery are his craft, and he stays hands-on and accountable for every build, so the person in charge of your system is the one who understands it top to bottom. When a project calls for it, he takes on the marketing too.

Payal leads marketing and growth. Positioning, campaigns, content and the measurement that keeps them honest are hers, and she makes sure the systems we build actually reach the people they were made for. She and Suman share the marketing work between them as each project needs.

How we operate

Six things we don't bend on.

They decide almost everything about how a project runs. None of them are up for negotiation.

01

Own what you pay for

On final payment, the work is yours. Documented, transferable, and never held hostage.

02

One team, no handoffs

The people who scope your project are the people who build it. Nobody sits in between.

03

Fixed scope, fixed price

Agreed in writing before we start. The number we quote is the number you pay.

04

Built to be understood

We document as we go, so your systems are never a black box that only we can open.

05

Small by choice

A few projects each quarter. We would rather do a little exceptionally than a lot adequately.

06

Honest before eager

If we are not right for the job, we will say so on the first call, and point you to someone who is.

How we build

Boring where it counts.

The parts you never see decide whether a system lasts. For us they are not extras. They are the default on every build.

Performance

Fast by budget, not by luck

Performance budgets are set at kickoff, and pages are built to load in well under a second and a half.
Security

Locked down by default

Role-based access and Argon2 password hashing come as standard, not as an upsell after launch.
Code

Written to be read

Strictly typed, cleanly structured and documented as we go, so the next engineer is never lost.
Handover

Yours to run

Everything is written down at the end, so your own team can operate it without us in the room.
In the open

The tools we didn't keep to ourselves.

Two of the systems we built for our own work are open source and free to use. One is the engine our client apps run on. The other quietly saves a business hundreds of dollars on a job most companies badly overpay for. See all our open source →

The framework our client applications are built on. Routing, an ORM, authentication, queues and caching in one package, with nothing to pull in from outside.

We build on a foundation we own, so when we hand a system over it stands on code you can read, patch and run without renting anything from anyone.

Honest bit

We are not for everyone.

And that is the point. Here is who we do our best work with, and who we probably are not right for.

A good fit if you

  • Have outgrown spreadsheets and off the shelf SaaS
  • Lose hours every week to manual, repetitive work
  • Want to own the software you run on, not rent it forever
  • Value a straight answer over a polished sales pitch

Probably not us if you

  • Need a five-minute template site at the lowest possible price
  • Want a large agency with a big account team
  • Want to hand off a problem and never look at it again
  • Need it built by yesterday, with the scope still undecided

A limited number of projects each quarter.

We deliberately keep intake small, so every project gets the attention it needs. If the timing is right, the next step is a short call.

1
A short call
Thirty minutes on what you are trying to do, with the person who would do it.
2
A written plan
Scope, timeline and a fixed price, all in writing before anything begins.
3
The build
Weekly written updates to agreed milestones, through to a documented handover.

Let's build something that lasts.

Tell us what you're working on. You'll get an honest read, not a sales call.
